Gray Hair Treatment

When hair is produced by the reproduction of the epithelial cells of the hair follicle, the newly produced melanin accumulates in cells and gives color to the hair during its emergence from the follicle. Gradually, as we age, the pigment cells in our hair follicles gradually die.
When fewer pigment cells are present in a hair follicle, that strand of hair will no longer contain as much melanin and will grow at a more transparent color (gray, silver or white).
